Something to smile about..
On the 13th of January, AC Milan posted this statement on their website:
AC Milan announces that during this week Antonio Cassano had a neurological check-up with the team of Professor Nereo Bresolin and Dr. Yvan Torrente and a cardiology visit with Professor Mario Carminati. Both check-ups gave positive results, so Antonio Cassano will begin individual athletic training from tomorrow.
He’s back!
Now what this means for the Azzurri is still up in the air. Cassano himself told press around Christmas that he would be out for 6 months, pretty giving the likelihood of his Euro 2012 return a swift and very sharp reality check.
That said, this is still hugely positive news for the man, his family and fans of Italian football everywhere.
Now, I’m sure receive more news on the manner and timing of FanAntonio’s return, but for now, let’s take a huge sigh of relief, as the positives at the present moment certainly outweigh the negative.
In the coming months, Gadsby and I will analyse attacking options and replacements should Antonio be a dead cert not to play, but in the meantime, this news has given us hope, and Calcio seems to have its mischief back.

Nice one boys, save any Nutella for me?
Sam is on Twitter. I agree, it’s shameless to advertise yourself on a news article. Shameless.
