Fiorentina Shows Italy How to Do it Right

By: Julian | September 29th, 2009 | 61 Comments »

I’m absolutely sick and tired of hearing about the EPL. Totally sick of it. I’m sick of hearing about how England has the strongest clubs in the world, even though Barca completely proved that wrong and Inter, Juve, and Madrid beg to differ. I’m sick of hearing about how England is that standard for football nowadays, whereas the real beauty ... [read]

Just a Reminder: Gigi Buffon

By: Julian | September 21st, 2009 | 47 Comments »

The Santon Debate

By: Julian | September 13th, 2009 | 42 Comments »

One of the biggest complains you hear about the Azzurri is that not enough youngsters are called up to the team. Now This is Infuriating

By: Julian | September 6th, 2009 | 62 Comments »

I feel like I give Lippi a pretty decent amount of slack. I call him out for not calling up players that I feel would improve the NT, but overall I feel like he knows the technical side of the game (though it took him what, almost a year to go back to the 4-4-2?). So when I hear stuff ... [read]

Has A Victory Ever Felt Like This?

By: Julian | September 5th, 2009 | 21 Comments »

It’s starting to become a familiar story. We play a team in a WCQ that we should easily beat. We stumble/luck our way to a victory. We’re all left with a sour flavor in our mouths.
Full writeup on the game.
To answer the question in the title, yes- a victory has felt like this in nearly every game we’ve played so ... [read]
