He doesn’t seem to think that a lot of the world cup players will be available and even if they were, they aren’t in the right mindset.

I hope there is not a sense of complacency within the squad now that they have won the big one. I’m really interested to see the new faces that Donadoni will bring into the squad.

I think it’s normal that most if not all of the team will not be available for this friendly against Croatia. They just completed a long season in Serie A then onto winning the world cup. They are entitled to lounge at the beach for a well deserved vacation.

It will also allow us to see some of the younger players Italy has in its youth system….who I am anxious to see play.

Tomorrow. 1 month ago…..you must go check out this site if you require a good laugh. The self pity and blaming others for their failure to advance is really funny.

Their talk of the beautiful
game which ….ha ha ha… only they can play and how everyone else wins ugly. How Germany cheated them….how Italy are undserving…it’s priceless check it out.

Why are Italy so dominant in soccer?

and if you could also ansewer in culture, cuisine, art, design, technology ect… a small country yet plays such a huge role in the everyday lives of everyone around the world.

open question to all

Christian-

Soccer in Italy is akin to a religion. but to partially answer the remainder of your question, Italians by and large are a people who appreciate the beauty in all things…food, art, culture, design, etc. And they bring it out in everything that they do, on and off the pitch.

The flip side is that they are an inherently chaotic people which, ironically, fuels alot of their creativity.

soberdownunder, you’re obviously just a child because I sincerely hope that an adult would be mature enough not to post such stupidity.

FORZA AZZURRI! Congrats to the Azzurri. I was in Italy for the championship, what a celebration! Forget talent, forget the best scorers, PASSION is everything! Lippi was able to select players with passion who fit his chemistry. I have never seen so much passion on the field, ever! I believe if ITALIA stays with the same philosophy, they will have their fifth star in 2010. I am proud to be a American Italian(calabrese)! Thank you Italia for the memories!
