I totally agree with Casiraghi. Azzurri will benefit from the players who go abroad. Italian Serie A coaches proved that they are not interested to play young footballers. i want to see young italy young talented fresh italian players hungry to win world cup and seeking glory unlike the old players who are currently representing italy and it is a shame they are.

I read this article from channel4.com and i think it is interesting:
Italy Under-21 boss Pierluigi Casiraghi has criticised Serie A clubs for not allowing youngsters to play and advised them to move abroad.

According to the former Chelsea player Italian prospects should follow the example of Giuseppe Rossi who grew at Manchester United and then joined Villarreal after leaving the Parma youth system.

“In Serie A results count more than anything,” claimed Casiraghi.

“If you don’t win matches you can’t play youngsters. So I think it’s better for them to move abroad because an experience like the one Giuseppe Rossi has had can be positive.

For many youngsters it has been time to decide whether to play regularly in Serie B or be a reserve in Serie A.

“It depends on their quality. For Mario Balotelli it is easier because he knows he can play at Inter, but for the others the Cadetti can be a good choice because it can be very competitive environment.”
