Training Camp nominations

Over the next few days I’m going to lob out a few names that I think should be on Lippi’s “short list,” if they aren’t already, for this training camp session in Roma.

Today: Angelo Perruzzi. He was fantastic today, minding the nets for a Lazio side that played with ten men for most of the match. A lesser keeper would have let two or three goals in, easily. He’s been playing week in and week out and ought to get a nod over someone like De Sanctis or Abbiati (even though I was higher on Abbiati even as recently as a few weeks ago for some unknown reason. hah.)
