The Moggi Conversations

You can’t NOT have an opinion on this, and I’ve been quiet on it mostly because we could fill entire websites with pro-Juve or anti-Juve corruption editorials and this is a site about Italy and the World Cup. But if Moggi did really say this about Lippi, who was the face of Juventus for so many years, then he was a.) obviously wrong and b.) a sad excuse of a man.

Loose translation: Lippi doesn’t know that role and won’t get the team to the World Cup.

He also had this to say about Miccoli, which is even more dubious:

Loose translation: Tell him not to play stupid, or he won’t get called for the national side, I recommended him for the national side.

(With apologies to those who speak the native language much better than I.)
