The axe is falling again

If Bortolo Mutti goes, that would make eleven (!) Serie A coaches fired in this campaign. Simply stunning. Not that you can blame the powers that be at Messina for being happy and they’re still not deep into the relegation zone, but nothing has changed my mind on this whole coaching matter since I first started rattling on about it in February. You don’t build a team capable of getting into the top flight over night, and you don’t destroy one either (ok, I had forgotten about Graham Souness. hah.) Give a coach the leeway to implement his system by bringing in some support. Don’t give him 11 stiffs and expect him to keep your club afloat.
