More Training Camp Nominations

I’m back after a couple days lost in the wilderness (Not really, I just work too much. Typical American.) Anyway… I’ve been reading all your responses and comments and thinking Italy could really use someone to cover on the back/midfield in case Zambrotta moves up to midfield , Gattuso stumbles out of the gates, etc. Why not Manuel Pasqual from Fiorentina? He only has a single cap and limited Serie A experience, but he’s playing superbly for Fiorentina week in and week out. He’s an effective crosser, can take free kicks in a pinch…and let’s face it, the defense needs all the motivation it can get. Several of the current defenders should be nervous about keeping their spots.
