Lippi to shave head if Italy wins

Apparently Lippi is enjoying Germany’s finest beer. He will shave his head if Italy lifts the Rimet trophy. In all seriousness, its good to see him have a lighthearted moment or two before all the anxiety starts on Monday.

PS: Rimet Cup is gone for good since 1970 and Brasil had it until it was stolen !!

Knowing how much lippi cares aboput his hair (he had only one of his friends doing it since he was 18 in Viareggio ) it means that he values the cup a lot but also that he may think chances are slim(mer) now !!

The more I read Lippi’s comments, the more I like the guy. He seems really level-headed, save hair shaving comments.

I also will shave my head if the Azzurri win, but Italy’s coach has far more responsibility than me, so if Italy loses……well……Lippi has to do something worse than just shaving his head…hmmm….how about castration?

Lippi is a great coach. But he did promise to shave off that famous silver hair. What happened?

He’s a little too much of the GQ sharp dresser. Next time, challenge him to take off his polished Guccis and coach in his bare feet.
