Lippi In Africa

But he doesn’t trust what he sees…and really, who could blame him? A Ghana side without Essien or Asamoah is a far cry from what we’ll see this summer. Tunisia under LeMerre could continue to be a force and (possibly) end up in Italy’s path in the knockout stage. Still, its hard to tell how strong Tunisia really are; the generally lackluster competition at the ANC this time around makes it tough to gauge.

And weren’t we just talking about Totti yesterday? Yes, yes we were. Well guess what? He’s definitely back from injury and wasted no time taking it out on Livorno, scoring twice. Shame that it was marred by the right-wing fringe of Roma fans who felt the need to attack the traditionally liberal/left wing Livorno tifosi.

Finally, for some good ‘lunch time reading’ check out the All Time Best 11 for the Azzurri (or your favorite Serie A team) according to the Channel4 website.
