Let’s Play a Game

May 31st, 2009 | By: Julian | 33 Comments »

It’s called “Stop being an asshole.” And guess what? It’s mandatory. You’re taking part just by posting a comment in the comment section.

What’re the rules? Oh they’re fun and easy to follow for 90% of people who comment:

  1. Do NOT insult, make fun of, or (hell) even mention someone else’s nationality. It’s absolutely irrelevant.
  2. Feel like posting any racial slurs or insults? Enjoy the IP ban. Even if that fails I will delete every single thing you comment afterward.
  3. Use common sense. There’s no reason for insulting other people. We’re here to talk about the Azzurri, not anything else. I don’t care if you’re Spanish, Dutch, Jupiterian… you’re welcome here as far as I’m concerned. So please don’t insult anyone else.

I’m sorry I had to dedicate a whole post to this since most of you guys are fine. A few posters were getting out of hand. Consider this your last warning.

Finally, if anyone is interested, I’m open to the idea of having a co-author for this blog. We could alternate days for posting, or have one of us do previews/reviews and the other editorials. I’m flexible and we can work out details once it’s OKed by Daryl. If anyone’s interested, please comment below (and follow the rules above, mind you) and I’ll email you with the detials.

Jackie, the problem is “9 champs leagues” aka Franco FC spoofs his IP. He acted as an Austrian troll here for a while, changed his name from “porchetta…” in general he’s just a bitter racist troll who probably lives at home with his parents without a drop of Italian blood.

Guys, let’s keep this to a soccer discussion. I think it’s good we have rules in place, let’s not continue with the useless name calling. There have been many changes in calcio over the last two weeks which I think have not been touched on. Let’s get back to work.

I hope one of your kids marries a dark person, that’ll fix you right up you ignorant prick. And stop considering yourself to be one of us cz ur about as Italian as Inter

Thank you Daryl (Julian who is Daryl?) for finally deleting out 9 champs leagues/Porchetta’s ugly comments. It’s so sad when calcio discussions devolve into racial hatred. “Let’s keep it clean boys”

Daryl is the head honcho of all things WCB/The offside related. And a really cool guy to boot.
