Juve-Napoli

May 17th, 2006 | By: Josh | 9 Comments »

It turns out that if things are, in actuality, as bad as they appear with the Juventus scandal, the Old Lady could be relegated to Serie B.

I wonder if Juve’s players would abandon ship, or stick around like DiLivio did a few years back. Perhaps that’s why Ibra is now being linked with Milan….

Whatever the case, if the allegations concerning the scandal are true, it might be good for all of football (not just Serie A) if a hefty punishment (with teeth) were meted out. Genoa were relegated to serie C instead of being promoted to Serie A just one year ago–> and that was for fixing a single match. The allegations mounting against Juve appear to be far more pervasive.

On a positive note, Juve-Napoli would make an interesting tie, wouldn’t it?

i am a long time juve supporter lived through about seven different era’s since 1968….i am here and contemplate the decline of the Old Lady’s style ..”Lo Stile Agnelli”(Giovanni Agnelli i mean)it makes me puke
i am fulfilling now a life long premonitions (or fantasies ?)to see my team fall down ,redeem itself and go back to another era of successes ..that time is approching with the speed of an hurricane and the humilation o millions of football fans of any age or team..Juve in B(or C?)..all the stars gone (Del Piero will stay though..) and let’s the rest of Italy and Europe feast on our remains …it won’t bring much of a good karma anyway.

That reminds me of what John Lennon said about Karma… He called it “Instant Karma.” The Juventus club/organization will be getting what they deserve, but sadly, the fans will suffer. Very similar to what happened to Roma fans with the %&*#@$%^&*^%$ Mexes deal. The fans suffered because of the club’s actions.

I can’t imagine Juve relegated. That said, I don’t think it’s a bad idea. Think of the competition and drama in Serie A next season if Juve were sent down to Serie B for a year!

as a Juventus fan, these are dark, dark days, and I feel let down by a substantial part of the administration of the club I love. there would be honour in getting relegated and working our way back up with determination and decency, and if Del Piero stays for that it will cement him as my favourite player to ever step on a pitch in my lifetime.

so…the family is rapidily taking over ,they will buy all the shares including the ones belonging to Moggi and Giraudo..the dinamic duo will make a lot of money but also will be liable so Juve will sue them ..serie b as for today is almost sure ,Juve will have a huge set back lose a lot of money in endorsements (TV and Nike will be renegotieted (Tamoil contract will be over if there is relegation..).new coach for Juve will be Walter Alfredo Novellino who is an expert in taking teams from B to A (4 times with different teams)…sadly many stars will have to go to make up some losses and lower the salary cup (Ibra, emerson,Viera, nevdev, trezeguet, buffon,Zambrotta,Camoranesi …)will go only Ale Del piero will stay to foster a new era for all of us..true fans will stay loyal and maybe love the team even more ….no matter what we are bound to have soon our third star…Juve Forever

Are you kidding me ?
At least serie C !
it’s a shame, what Juve has done, whatever, everybody knew that, I just watched the calcio THIS year, it was the same way to manage the referees. It’s at least 3 years since they cheat !
Figo, Veron told that to the media, what did they receive ? amends ! I ‘m really upset ! I knew that, fortunately it has been discovered, to me the club should be erased for life.
Die JUVENTUS !

why should i be kidding ?you rather hear that i will never watch football again or embrace another team ? i don’t know if you are an Italian but what do you think of a country where a prime minister became a politician in order not to go jail can now play victim ..and what would you think of him knowing that no longer than 6 months ago praised Moggi as the best you could have did he know something ?or did he not ?..(i don’t know what i am more worried about)..the situation is much more complex than it looks Juve will pay the proper price and have the destiny that can have in the respect of all the rules the family took a huge hit no one should dismiss the fact tha Moggi and Giraudo amde so much money on the side while running Juve that there is enough ground for a a big civil law suit vs them..In Italy at least 25 teams had to relocate and start anew in the past 5 years.. we terribly need a serious change which will touch also whoever looks untouched now..i don’t mean Inter ..the fact that they have been damaged it is indeed proved……as for me once again i will stay where my heart is and always been Juve Forever..even in C…
