Good grief.

July 4th, 2006 | By: Jay | 32 Comments »

I’m pulling my hair out. I don’t want this match to go to penalty kicks. Iaquinta is coming in for the extra periods, which is a good sign. Give me people who can run. Camoranesi was clearly gassed at the end of regulation time, and as much as I hate to say it, it was time for him to sit down.

After we bury the French for good, your next…just no dirty tricks ok.

You played a tired and wounded team in Germany, with Ballack having nothing left and robbed your game from Australia. But your luck will run out against the Portuguese.

Portugal verus Italy.

Legio I Italica destroyed the German barbarians and are marching victorius towards Berlin. Legion IX Lusitana under the command of Iulius Figus is engaging the enemy tommorow with orders to destroy Carthage and punish Hannibal. Will we have a Pax Romana on Sunday in Berlin or will Hannibal try and upset the natural order of things?
For my part I hear the legions marching. Ave Roma!

Free Drive Ro,; it will be the first time Italy marched anywhere, except backwards. The French will send the Romans back on the road. You Italians are without a doubt the worst bunch of sore winners the world has ever seen.

Italy has never marched anywhere, except in a backwards retreat. France will crush Italy and then the Italian sore winners can take it out on their own. Boy, what a bunch of kids you Italians are; had you lost, it would have been the ref’s fault no doubt. You’re bad winners. Pax Romana indeed.

hmm Hannibal has to pass the Selecao das Quintas first to have a shot at Rome. I give it 1 in 4 odds

Christianus Ronaldus and Decus are two of the most celebrated centurions in Legio IX Lusitana, under the orders of praetor Ficus. The Hannibal oponnents seem to be former slaves from Sudan very well trained in the games. I hope Berlin will deliver a LAtin final

Alec, the Italians also showed the planet how to dive, how to campaign against a German player who has done nothing wrong and deserved to play and how to beat successfully tie an up and coming team like the USA. So other than soccer, any other corruption in your country?

Excellent game. Germany appeared to be stronger until the end; they couldn’t carry on anymore. Fabio Grosso should be nominated for an Oscar for his fake injury perfomances; not a credit to the game.

erm has ne 1 noticed that all the bad comnets about italy r frm the AMERICANS??? who r sayin that we r bad winners ….and sore losers??? well would it not appear to be that u americans r the sore losers seeing as u r out! no matter what we italians do it is never right or good enough for people! we played a terrific game against germany,we pulled out all the stops and it should have been 4-0 but luck was against us!if germany had of won then fairplay to them because they played an excellent game! so why dont u americans shut up and get over yourselves! so apart from that FORZA ITALIA! u will beat da french!!!! theyve got it cumin to them!!!!! siete bravissimi! potete farlo! forzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
