Draw part II: getting restless

June 3rd, 2006 | By: Jay | 4 Comments »

Josh’s post on finishing now has more relevance than it did even earlier this week… despite creating a bundle of chances against Ukraine, the Azzurri couldn’t muster a goal today. Two goals in the last 180+ minutes isn’t enough to send people to the cliffs, but its certainly cause for alarm.

The more traditional 4-3-3 was back, but I think we need Totti to start and Del Piero to sit; bring Alex on in the 2nd half.

On the bright side, Ukraine did not score…but this was a side without Berbatov, Sheva, and Rebrov among others. Hardly an “A” squad.

Hah! Total Brain cramp!! Sorry. Didn’t mean to offend the Ukranians or the Bulgarians! Somewhere Stoitchkov just fainted.

I think Ukraine would have been surprised to see Berbatov in the Ukraine line-up. Considering he’s BULGARIAN ha ha !!!!

Stop hating, Italy have a good team and if we play to our potential it could be our year.
