Donadoni ; a fans view

 Donadoni isn’t exactly garnering Marcello Lippi-esque unanimity among Italian fans but
reader Mark left an interesting comment on the last post that i deemed worthy of it’s own article.

This is what he had to say :

I like the work that Don has done, but I agree with the way the FIGC is approaching this one. I saw a somewhat over experimental coach go through the ropes and repond with resiliency working through his early errors to field a very competent looking team. In the last two games this squad reminds me of Lippi’s squad just prior to the World Cup with the exception that this squad transitions into attack more fluidly. Yes, Donadoni’s 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 transition is one of the smoothest I’ve seen in Italian teams, or any team for that matter. If his team is successful you are going to find many other team in Europe mimicking that tactic, as has happened with Lippi’s work. I give Don the benefit of the doubt. I think he can do good things!
