Discussion Question: What did you think about the Confederations’ Cup?
It’s not over, but it is for us. Last post I gave you guys my view on how we did. It’s pretty evident that I think the Cup really counted and that we now know what we have to do for next year. But what did you guys think? Take the poll and we’ll discuss it in the comments section.

I never saw Giovinco as a trequartista. To me he’s a wide-out support striker. I’d pair him up with Balotelli at the front line supported by Candreva and we’re good in the attack.

paes u speak of winning the world cup in ur great grandpas era even if u discount those we still have DOUBLE spains total, even if u discount the 82 title saying we played antifootbal despite beating brazil 3-2 then we still have more world cups than spain. btw, u speak of italy playing poor in the u 21 against germany albeit only for 1 half when they did more than enough to win in the first. Nether the less, where is spain in the semis? or the group stages? OUT

SPAIN is the most overrated team in the world.
the game against Iraq was a joke. they scored and then played keep-away for the rest of the game.
ARGENTINA and NETHERLANDS are currently the best teams on the field.
Spain has been given a confidence boost because of a number of successive wins, but loosing to the US proves they are not so special.
say what ever you want but Spain has has never been a world champion (nor a Confed Cup winner) and there is a reason why.

Spain played anti-football agianst Iraq, so there is not much credibility there.
one lucky goal and some decent passing does not make good nor entertaining football.
it will be obvious as soon as they have to play a real team … there are better teams out there than the US.

porchetta, you are such a fucking pussy, spewing all your racist bullshit.
if it weren’t for the anonymity of the internet, you wouldn’t have the guts to say anyhting.
your just a third-class duchebag who has no worth what so ever and every word that you type is filled with more ignorance than the stupidest inbreds from any race.
EVERYONE should just stop reading his shit and reacting to it. unfortunately i read other peoples comments that contain some of his stuff and then feel compelled to react, but if no one reads it, it will become as worthless as it really is.

We get it, and we’re working on censoring the comments. Please don’t make our job any harder than it already is. Thanks, Julian

Guys calm down. Let us focus on Italian football and the disaster that Lippi made at the confederations cup. I hope Antonio Conte be in charge of Italy U-21 and then the National Team, I think this man has the desire to win and creative.

true that, Shuli. i have a low tolerance for any kind of racist bullshit.

This is why I never even come to this blog.
No offence to Julian though, cause I do enjoy reading his posts.
