ilcapitano- Good idea. I’ve been looking into the issue since Macheda exploded onto the scene, and from what I can gather I think it’s illegal for Italian clubs to offer pro contracts to players under 18, while its legal in England for some reason. But I’ll go more in depth into it.

Think we can maybe get an article on young italian stars being poached by english clubs who can offer them contracts at a younger age? this seems to be an issue, its how we lost Rossi, Macheda, Petrucci, and others.
