Crappy Lookalikes: Part 1 + News For the Day
Yesterday we talked about something serious- the recent friendly that the Azzurri played like crap in, what went wrong and how to fix it. So to mix it up a little, today I’m posting a new (potentially regular) feature: crappy lookalikes. Let me explain.
Were you ever watching Inter play a game and think that, for a second, you were watching Braveheart? No, that’s not a swipe at their method of play. It’s just that Dejan Stankovic looks a lot like Mel Gibson. In fact, a lot of players in the Serie A look like famous people from other parts of the Earths. So in the first of what might become a series of posts (If I can think of any more crappy lookalikes), here’s a few players that look like famous people. Or not.
Lookalike numero uno:
Matthew Perry

And Gila. They’re basically twins.

Number 2:
Dejan Stankovic

And Mel Gibson.

And number three:
Julio Cesar

Jay Leno. I’ll admit it- it’s probably the chin. But still

Know of any other player-celebrity lookalikes? Feel free to post in the comments and maybe they’ll show up in Part 2.
Quick news updates for the day:
Kaka’s got some kind of inflammation and will be out for 15 days at least. I don’t understand why they can’t pin down the problem with this guy. Didn’t he just have knee surgery?
Robinho’s crying because he wants to go to Chelsea. That’ll bring Chelsea’s number of attacking midfielders to approximately 42. Jeez, they could field a world class team with just the midfielders they have. Ambramovich is a greedy guy.
And since the Sheva-Milan move collapsed he’s now being linked to Roma. Does anyone else just want this guy to retire so we can hear the end of this transfer saga? It’s like the C Ron saga but he’s not even that talented anymore.

Francesco Totti and Man vs. Wild’s Bear Grylls were practically separated at birth.
Except one became one of the best fútbol players ever and the other stars in a fraudulent TV Show.

Ro and alessio, both of you guys had good ones but damn asem. I never noticed but you’re spot on. It’s almost freaky

ummm, francesco totti and charlie sheen? what do you think about them?
I realized the fact that they are similiar a few months ago when I watch one of Sheen’s movie

I noticed it when I first started watching M vs. W last year. It really is crazy how similar they look…

Ahah I was just about to link to Alessio’s post. I’m still freaked out over the uncanny never-noticed-it-before resemblance of Gigi Buffon and William Fichtner.
