Cassano in the dog house…again.

April 19th, 2006 | By: Jay | 4 Comments »

Benito Floro is now backpedaling on the Cassano signing. (Not that its surprising, when was the last time you saw a club president defend a player?) Cassano is something of a lightning rod, and you guys have some pretty strong opinions about him as well. I think personally at one time he might have had as much raw talent as anyone in Europe. But if you don’t get on the pitch come Saturday or Sunday, you’re going to go to waste and he’s proving it. Its a shame he didn’t go somewhere that would have guaranteed him serious playing time.

Ooooh How surprising!!! Even Real understand it :D Poor Antonio!!

He’ll be probably sold at the end of this season.
His last hope to do something as a football player is to sign for Juventus with Capello as coach, he was the only one who was able to throw out the real potential of Cassano and to restrain his attitude at the same time, the problem is that Juventus doesn’t forgive anything so if he does his usual “cassanate” he could be in real trouble.
If he sign for Inter Milan then we’ll lose him forever, he’ll become player like Recoba

Yeah, he’s outta there, big time. Thank God too. If I understood you correctly, Zero, you’re saying that if Cassano signs for Inter we’ll see him even less than we do now with Madrid, right?

I think it’s the saddest thing tht we hardly ever get to see Recoba play. He really impressed at the 2002 world cup, but the wizards at Inter (except for Moratti) evidently continue tothink otherwise. So what if the rest of the world agrees that Recoba is a magician… he goofs off on the training pitch, so….bench him!!!! It’s almost like the Rivaldo situation. Only here it’s worse because, like a battered wife, Recoba clings to the hand that punishes…. At least Rivaldo got out of dodge.

Oh yeah, and Recoba just got injured and might be done for the season. Perfect. Now they’ll low-ball him on his new contract to boot.
