Big Hearts

As much as I liked the Friday night derby, this match today between Palermo and Roma had to be the match of the week. Palermo, down 3-nil at the break, storms back to score three and send Roma packing at the Renzo Barbera and wondering what happened. What happened was Barone and Di Michele fought like there was no tomorrow. It was a class display.

I think if Palermo keep the majority of their roster intact for next season and buy a central midfielder and add some depth to the squad, they can be a real threat for a Champions League berth next season. A full year of Papa at the helm will help avoid the terrible first half they had this season when they were letting in goals like a beer league team.
