Beretta Speaks Up

Mario Beretta has recommended both Daniele Bonera and Marco Marchionni for Lippi’s squad this summer. I’m not sure I see a reasonable argument for either to be included, although Bonera does give the option to play center or on the right though, and if he can regain his pre-injury form that would be a great story. Marchionni will have problems making the squad as the midfield is already crowded, simple as that, and I don’t think he’s had any caps in two or three years.
