A Very Good Friday

Some might say football in Italy is a religion. On the other hand, apparently someone high up in Serie A thinks its more important than religion– The A.C. Milan / Inter derby has been moved up to Friday night on Good Friday to give A.C. Milan an extra day of rest heading into their tie with Barcelona.
As you can imagine, this isn’t sitting well at the Vatican. Cardinal Ersilio Tonini said the following: “The insensibility of the soccer world is discouraging,” the 81-year-old Vatican official told Milan sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport on Saturday. “There is no justification for this choice.”
Welcome to the modern world, Cardinal, welcome to the modern world…
