Greetings from the land of Rooney and Lampard. I’ve been hamstrung by lack of internet here in London the last couple days; be that as it may the blog must go on, eh?

I’m not sure if Gianluigi Buffon was serious when he said this, but he’s pegging the Azzurri’s chances of winning the World Cup at 95 percent! Way to stick your neck out, there Gigi.

And the FIGC is apparently set to adopt FIFA’s racism rules. I’m a bit cynical that it will make a difference, but let’s hope. This stuff shouldn’t be going on in 2006.
