Cassano’s Coffin not Completely Closed ?

che-cazzo-cassano.jpg

Antonio Cassano and his recent antics have surely ended the chances of seeing Antonio’s sweet football skills in the AustrianSwisses this summer. Or have they ?

It seems like Roberto Donadoni hasn’t made a final decision concerning The Talented Bari Born Player.

“I think that in terms of psychological calm, Cassano couldn’t ask for more, seeing the good results coming Sampdoria’s way – the Coach noted -. I think the first person who realised that he’d made a mistake was the man himself, and he would be more than glad to wipe out last Sunday’s incident”.

Let’s not forget that Donadoni thought enough of the Barese to select him for the Lithuania and France Qualifiers. Even after seeing his awful Madrid experiences unfold.

Nobody can knock Cassano’s footballing genius, but unfortunately the word ”genius” is the last one that comes to mind if you think of Cassano, the human, not the player. Talentino was born on the same day Italy won the 1982 World Cup. His progression through the calcio ranks from Bari to Real Madrid seem fairy tale-ish, but Cassano could be one of the best players in the world right now. He could own a man bag and get away with it, no problem.

Why does his hot blooded temper get to his head at every minor little incident?
A in form, serene Antonio Cassano is exactly what this Totti-less Nazionale needs.

I don’t care if he needs to accept Jesus in his heart, convert himself to Islam or even if he falls into hard drugs, I, for one, am hoping Antonio pulls his shit together before the Euro.

Forza Anto !

I couldn’t agree more. As a fellow Barese, I couldn’t be happier to see Cassano fill that Totti hole.

    Nick

I couldn’t disagree more. He is a walking talking red card and I am sure “The Don” will not select him, though ever the diplomat he doesn’t flat out say it.

I’m sure Cassano is sorry but he’s been sorrry to many times in life. Im glad he has found his form at Samdoraia but NO national team and that is t bad since he is a brilliant striker.

I agree with u 100%, its his hot headed temper that makes him so great. NOT to knock Totti but i rather have someone score goals, create plays from nothing and assist on almost every other goal socred then go on a whole tournament waiting 4 something to happen then get a stupid penalty shot, score and suck his thumb and jump around like he carried he whole team
on his shoulders. Hate talking bad about totti i lov him but all our players are good for nothing when it counts, forget world cup there was only one game that made me proud to wave my flag that was the game against Germany. By the way spitting on other players is not the way u show good temperment. Forza Pirlo,Zambrotta,Cannavaro,Buffon and Forza CASSANO
last FORZA AZZURRI good luck EURO 2008 ‘also how about that knock to the face by Derossi against US that almost put us in trouble. jsut think about it
