Italy vs Poland: Gameday Post

…It just doesn’t look the same without Elaines wonderful art, does it?
And the Azzurri side doesn’t look the same without Antonio Cassano, Guiseppe Rossi or Sebastian Giovinco either…:(
Anyways, heres the lineups and whatnot for tonights game, heres to a good start to the Euro 2012 preparations!
Italy(Confirmed): Buffon, Abate, Ogbonna, Chiellini, Criscito, Pirlo, De Rossi, Marchisio, Montolivo, Balotelli, Pazzini (4-3-1-2)
Our boys will be lining up in, you guessed it - a 4-3-1-2, with Monty in the hole. Marchisio comes in alongside regulars Andrea and Beardface with “The Crazy One” Pazzo next to Balotelli, he of poor firework control. Oh dear… Blondie(Abate, obviously) gets a baptism of fire for his debut whilst Ogbonna is is next to Chiello, apparently, Ranocchia is injured.
A solid line up, no doubt. Apparently the second half will see numerous changes(see Football Italia for details. Solidity and variety. Good times.
Poland(Probable): Szczesny, Wasilewski, Perquis, Wawrzyniak, Piszczek , Murawski, Polanski, Blaszczykowski, Mierzejewski, Peszko, Lewandowski (4-2-3-1)
The Arsenal youngster Szczesny in goal for Poland with Lewandowski at the other end as the number 9 in a 4-2-3-1, aiming to simultaneously defend and stretch us on the counter. This Poland side isn’t spectacular, it will be heavily relying on Lewandowski to get the attacks going, so if we shut them off at the source, we’ll be ok, I think.
Forza Italia!
